New Welcome Anywhere Plus feature: guest group booking portal

By |February 7th, 2017|

There’s nothing quite like a group booking in the hotel trade. A single enquiry that results in several room sales is great for revenue, a boon for occupancy and nothing more than good, solid business which also levers food sales.

Unfortunately, hotel booking systems have often made something of a ham-fisted attempt at implementing functionality for […]

Behind the booking code: an interview with Welcome Anywhere developer, Jack McGuire

By |November 16th, 2016|

Earlier this month, we launched a brand new online booking system for hotels. Designed with a mobile-first mindset and drawing on thirteen years of experience, the new platform represents a seismic leap forward for Welcome Anywhere.

Forever a hospitality original, we were one of the first in the industry to develop an online hotel reservation system. […]

We’ve made some big changes to Welcome Anywhere.

By |February 17th, 2016|

Welcome Anywhere is changing. Last week, we released some small but essential tweaks to our property management system’s key features. And these aren’t spontaneous changes we devised on our lunch break – they are deeply rooted in our goal to develop a hotel booking system which speaks the language of hoteliers; we’re always listening to […]

Calling holiday park owners: we’d like your feedback!

By |June 24th, 2015|

We are currently building Welcome Anywhere for Holiday Parks. We strongly believe that, by leaning on three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, we can untangle the booking system conundrum and help holiday park owners maximise sales and make the most of their online presence.

The system itself is in the latter stages of development and will soon […]

Untangling online booking, the Welcome way

By |June 12th, 2015|

Online booking is an intrinsic part of Welcome Anywhere. It’s how we connect guests with accommodation businesses and can be one of the most profitable sources of bookings.

It’s only right, therefore, that we occasionally down tools, tear up the rulebook, forget what we’ve learned and review our online booking platform from the ground up. We did that recently and we’re now embarking on the biggest redesign of Welcome Online in twelve years.

What we love about Welcome Anywhere (and where we think we can improve)

By |June 12th, 2015|

At Welcome Systems HQ, we hold regular, full team meetings, which enables each department to provide an update on current projects, reasons for celebration and areas in which they have gained valuable experience. Such retrospective reviewing and forward planning is essential in our book – no business can survive without it.

This morning, we had a great office meeting during which we turned to Welcome Anywhere and discussed what we love about our accommodation management system (hey, we can afford a bit of self appreciation on a Friday), and the areas in which we’d like to see improvement (we’re not too proud!).

A Core update for existing Welcome Anywhere users

By |March 25th, 2015|

On 31st March, we will be launching our next generation property management system, Welcome Anywhere Plus. Following many months of development, and calling on over thirty years’ experience in the hospitality industry, the new system is set to redefine expectations by offering premium functionality which is accessible, intuitive and available for a low, fixed monthly fee.

Welcome Anywhere Plus is coming…

By |March 17th, 2015|

We’ve been hinting at it on Twitter, but we would like to take this opportunity to officially announce that the next chapter in Welcome Anywhere’s life is due for release on 31st March 2015.

Introducing the new, ultra-portable Welcome Anywhere

By |November 25th, 2014|

We’ve got a very exciting update on the way for Welcome Anywhere. Currently in beta testing, we’ve been focussing on streamlining the user interface and making it ultimately accessible, no matter where you are or which device you have to hand.

An update on Welcome Anywhere for holiday parks

By |November 18th, 2014|

Since our visit to the Lawns Show back in September, we have spent a fascinating couple of months delving further into the UK’s holiday park industry. Above all, we have discovered a somewhat clouded picture when it comes to booking systems. While undoubtedly frustrating for park operators, we’re excited – because we know we can help.
